Mobility requirements consist of travel arrangements, housing, visa, work permits etc. for our resources, either for knowledge exchange only or for a more permanent stay in the country from which Capgemini decided to deliver the services.

The elements to arrange for, depends on Capgemini’s delivery and transition solution, Capgemini company rules and local country or regional rules and regulations. In some countries resources are not allowed to come for knowledge exchange based on a business visa, they need to have a work permit. It can even be a criminal offence to invite resources into a country for this purpose without having a work permit. The punishment might include large fines for Capgemini and even imprisonment of the responsible manager.

The Service Engagement Staff work stream team needs to find all mobility requirements and needs to find all processes to apply so that the resources’ mobility requirements can be fulfilled in time. This information is logged in the artifact Mobility Tracker.
